Sumit provides a variety of accounting services to JDJ clients, including bill paying and expense reporting, payroll processing, cost basis tracking, tax payment processing and budget-to-actual reporting. Sumit’s calm demeanor and intuitive nature make him a valued member of the JDJ team.

Previously, Sumit was a staff accountant at the accounting services firm of Levine, Caufield, Martin & Goldberg (LCMG). In this role, Sumit handled a wide array of financial reporting and accounting functions, including bank account reconciliation, and preparation and analysis of budgets and financial statements. Sumit also filed sales and use tax returns, payroll tax returns, and processed 1099 forms. Sumit assisted in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, non-profit organizations, partnerships, and corporations.

Prior to that role, Sumit was a staff accountant at Hajiani CPA, LLC, where he helped maintain the books and records of the firm’s clients, performing year-end general ledger closing procedures, and bank and payroll reconciliations. He also assisted in the preparation of audit reports, techniques, and documentation.

Sumit received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Accountancy from The University of Massachusetts, Boston. Sumit grew up in Nepal, and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.
